Just because we're 10,000ish miles away doesn't mean we can't celebrate Independence Day. :)
There were a couple of potluck picnics . . . how are you supposed to choose? A bunch of us were asking each other which one the other was going to attend and eventually came to a consensus that a group of us would go to one. It was a lot of fun. And lots of good food!
We even had our version of fireworks using steel wool and wire.
And since you can't fully experience the greatness of this with just pictures, here are some videos.
